We can say that QGit is the KDE alternative to Gitg. This integration may be the best this tool has. Gitg is not a very powerful tool but it is a simple and useful tool for perform certain git tasks from the Gnome desktop. Gitg is a simple but powerful tool that efficiently shows us all the commits and changes that have been made in the project since its inception. Gitg is a graphical Git client for the Gnome desktop. Git Cola does not have any plugins or extensions which makes the tool very functional and light. It is built with Python and GTK libraries that help to achieve this interface of modules or blocks. Its graphical interface is not very up-to-date but it is a very functional tool. Git Cola is a Free Software tool and it is also very stable, something important if we have to develop software. Git Cola is one of the oldest graphical Git clients out there and that means it is present in all distributions, not just Ubuntu 18.04. ![]()
